Cultural competence isn’t enough — today’s leaders must lead with humility. This 2-hour interactive session explores how cultural humility strengthens leadership by centering respect, empathy, and continuous self-awareness. Participants will learn strategies to build inclusive environments, engage across differences, and lead with cultural intelligence in diverse professional settings.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
Define cultural humility and distinguish it from cultural competence, including its application in leadership roles.
Identify personal cultural assumptions, biases, and blind spots that impact their leadership style and interactions.
Explore the role of self-awareness and continuous learning in practicing cultural humility as a leader.
